Happy Women's Equality Day

Today is, indeed, women's equality day. It commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote (in 1920). It seems like such a long time ago but to put it in perspective, when my mother-in-law Mary was born (she's 93) women couldn't vote.

BTW since google has doodles for pretty much every other event; I was sad to see nothing for today. Maybe we should do our own google drawings for it.
